I spent a large part of my childhood in Australia.
My father was a mining engineer and gold prospector.
Consequently I grew up surrounded by an array of rock samples
and precious ores. So it made complete sense after working for ten years
as a graphic designer that I turned to Jewellery making.
I had studied Graphics at Guildford Art School in the 1960s
In the 1970s I went to Sir John Cass in Whitechapel London
where I studied jewellery.
Since then I have spent my time adorning women’s necks and ears.
I work with silver and semi precious stones, glass, plastics, acrylics,
wood, paper, ribbons and bows, paperclips ,rubber bands.
You name it and I will try and incorporate into something wearable.
I love the challenge of turning everyday items
Into decorative adornments.
It’s my passion.
